I'm Back

Ok well went to Vegas, one of the sickest, lost a ton and im back trying to grind back money for roll/pay pecks back. Playing 50NL on Luckyace. Really need to start putting some hands in, and im aiming for gold status, which is aboot another 8k hands in 3 days, so i need to get my grind on, sharpish.

Good week

The last week has been miles better than the previous one. Played really well and seem to be running ok as well. Roll is now $700 with $500 bonus applied for so $1.2k effective. Stopped spewing loads and paying off players, not thinking i'll call just to see what he's got, lol.

Frustration

This week has been so annoying. Been up and down like a polish whore. Just cant seem to put a winning run together. Stuff like this keeps happening.

Am about even overall and nearly unlocked my bonus so thats cool.

Ugh, well the last few days have been gash to be fair. Down about $300, and $100 from roulette. Think ive been playing ok, just need to make sure people dont flop sets on me when ive got a monster. Played a lot today, 5k hands, was down around 3 BI. Sunday was down like 5 BI at 50nl which killed me really, lol. So overall played 15k hands over the week, which is lazy and about even, which is terrible.

Been a bit lazy these last couple of days and not played that many hands. Only played 5.3k and never a session longer than 2 hours. Really need to start getting into the habit of longer sessions. Been alright profit wise though, 10 BI and around 17 bb/100. Went out on Wednesday and played lagging boat, but Sneds said i played ok so thats cool. Got a sweat session tomorro after the United match, with another micro stakes 2+2er so that should be interesting. Gunna make a vid and post on forum.

So it begins

So i deposited today on Ladbrokes and fired it up straight away to put in a big session. Played 3.5k hands which is the most ive ever played in 1 day. 9 tabled for the most part, which is the most ive ever played and it took me a while to get into it. Made some really spewy bad calls early on and shoved some very marginal spots, but on the whole, for the first session, thought i played ok. Pretty much broke even at 20NL, which is realy disappointing, cos i usually crush it, but its only 3k hands. Smashed 30NL, which is where my graph goes up lol. Didn't stack anybody for ages, just played small/medium pots, which i'm not used too. Usually its just a shove fest. Got tomorrow off Uni, so i aim to play at least 5k hands. I'm scrapping the 25k hand in a month job and will prob aim for about 60k at this rate.

Vegas trip 09 the beginning

Ok, well i'm Jon Slater (jon slats) and i'm planning to go to Vegas with a few mates in the summer next year. This is just really a record of how i'm doing to update my own progress and keep me focused on my goals. The aim is to get to about $7/8k by june, including rakeback and bonuses and stuff so i can just merk sutten while there for a month. I'm going to be starting tomorrow with $500 and play 20nl. Also have a $500 bonus in there as well. The aim for this month is to play 25k hands, and beat the game for around 6ptbb/100, which i think is really doable. Moving up to 30nl when i get to $800 and 50nl at $1.2k.
